June 6, 2026 — Vasco da Gama European Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (EIDIR) officially hosted a five-member delegation from the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL), lead by President Zheng Shaohua. During the visit, EIDIR President Jean-Marc Degreef held a high-level meeting with the visitors, which culminated in the on-site signing of a new inter-institutional cooperation agreement, marking a significant milestone in expanding the Institute’s global educational network.
Following the signing ceremony, both leadership teams engaged in productive discussions to outline immediate, actionable initiatives. The two institutions reached concrete agreements on several key areas, including joint student cultivation, overseas internship opportunities, and the establishment of a co-managed research center.
